IMPORTANT DESIGNATION IN THE MARITIME INDUSTRY

The CLASS IBS has achieved formal recognition by the Government of JAMAICA, following the conclusion of an agreement that grants the classification society the authority to issue statutory certificates for IMO-related international conventions. The CLASS IBS is the first classification society after IACS members to be formally recognized by Jamaica. The Agreement was signed in representation of the Government of Jamaica by Rear Admiral Peter Brady and in representation of Class IBS by Mr. Alex Orillac Director General.
